It happened because it was no room above my seat's bin and the steard helped me to get my heat in another bin. Unfortunately I forgot at the moment when I left the board of the plane, a minute later I reminded that I forgot my hat but I was not allowed to go back and get my hat. I tried to communicate with the Lot&Found office in Vienna airport as I had 2h40 minutes in connection time and it was enough time to get me back the hat, unfortunately nothing was really done from the airport staff to get me my hat and made to me possible continue traveling with my hat. I spoke to two managers, the name I could share with you if you need. The Found office registered my black hat and the plastic box under the number F2018/000682. In this situation I ask your offices to deliver my hat and the plastic box to Lviv airport as sson as possible as this is a special hat for my daily prayers. I wish you best and ask for your kind assistance to send the item as soon as possible with the nearest flight. Sincerely, Meylakh Sheykhet"

It looked to me like Swiss Air knew we were running close as the flight rarely (if ever) leaves on time. It was stressful for us and for the 30+ others who were still in line in immigration when the flight time passed. It turned out to not be a problem but the published times are unrealistic. Seats were tight and comfort in cattle class is NON Existent sleep on an 8 hour flight was not even possible."

Минусы: "The check in process was terrible. I specifically requested seating together with 2 small children and an injured daughter. The check in process was the most chaotic I've seen in recent times. No clear order, no clear counters. We bounced back and forth before we checked in our luggage. At the gate, another long chaotic line of multiple questioning and bag/body search before we boarded buses to our plane. When we boarded we found out we were split at 2 or 1 seat arrangements (out of 5 travelers). After complaining, there were able to seat at least 3 (with one lap child) together and 1 separate. The plane was uncomfortably hot all flight long despite notifying the flight attendants. The one restroom ran out of soap in the first hour of the 11 hour flight. They quickly ran out of a choice for lunch option and snacks. I fly Turkish Airlines frequently and I usually am satisfied, but this was exceptionally bad experience."

Минусы: "Every staff person we had contact with made us feel as though we were not a priority in any way. We were constantly given misinformation. Our flight was two hours out when it was returned to our departure city due to a passenger health issue. It was not properly explained to us and we were in no way compensated for the inconvenience. Once back at our departure city (Miami) we sat there for an hour or more. They chose to feed us during that delay. Due to this we missed our connecting flight in Istanbul to Rome. This also caused us to miss our transportation from Rome to Compania, Italy. We were told by airline staff on the plane that we would be put up in a hotel over night. When we arrived at the terminal we had no idea where we should go or who we should see. Every representative we spoke to told us to go somewhere else. Truth is it felt like no one we spoke to knew what to tell us or really cared at all. One representative told us we were not entitled to overnight accommodations. We insisted we were told we were and it literally took hours on the ground to straighten the problem out and get to a hotel. By then it was so late that we only got a couple hours of sleep and had to be back at the airport for our next flight. The second flight from Istanbul to Naples, Italy was better. I do not think I would use this airline again. My entire party got an overall sense that people were untrained and lacking in any form of customer service. Not the flight attendants but all the people we had to deal with on the ground. My age plus health issues and walking problems made everything more difficult. We were sent al over the massive airlines terminal with all our carry on luggage only to find when we got to where we were going we had been sent to the wrong place. On top of all this each of us had to pay a VISA fee to get out of the terminal and to the hotel. Just a total nightmare. Prior to taking this flight I contacted Turkish Airlines and spoke to a customer service person and explained that I needed to take with me a small portable oxygen concentrator that I would need to use while in Italy. I needed to know the procedure for bringing that equipment on the airline. I was told that although he could not answer that question He would pass it on to his supervisors and I would receive an answer via email prior to my flight. I never received a response and as a result did not have my needed oxygen while abroad."

It took an hour of being ignored by various TA staff to eventually get my boarding pass to the next available flight to London. I nearly missed that one as well because of it. The staff in Turkey was rude and unhelpful and most didn’t understand English properly. There were a number of others having the same issues, it was an awful experience."

Only thing that separated it from economy class was a curtain, and middle seats blocked off."

Luggage lost on return flight, no idea if/when I will receive."

Минусы: "Business class - not enough Space for legs. Took hand lagage during boarding for check in , because of the weight. Rules are Rules, but for business class can give some tolerance. Near to my seat two suitcases were put on the floor..."

Питание в 10 часовом рейсе было замечательным. все быстро раздавали и убирали. Еда была вкусной. Пилоты тоже очень профессиональные рейс прошел без толчков. спокойно . Спать было комфортно. Никаких очередей в туалет не было. В самолете все было замечательно."
Минусы: "Сотрудники в аэропортах. На регистрацию в аэропорт Денвера мы приехали за три часа. На паспортный контроль попали за 30 минут!!!! Очередь огромная, сотрудники бегают от стойки к стойке. Разговаривают очень грубо, что само по себе для Америки непривычно. Одного пассажира обслуживают в среднем 20 минут(!!!) То забирают багаж, то возвращают багаж - отвлекаются на возврат сразу все. Рейс задержали на полтора часа. Об этом мы узнали на стойке регистрации. На стыковочный рейс мы опоздали, поэтому попросили сотрудников сразу определить наши дальнейшие действия. Парень на стойке очень в грубой форме сказал - прилетите в Мюнхен, там подойдете в сервис. Когда прилетели в Мюнхен оказалось, что сервис не работает. Бегали по всему аэропорту. Потом подождали на одном из рейсов Люфтганзы не закончилась регистрация. Попросили сотрудника ( по английски не говорит, только по немецки!!!!) решить наш вопрос. Она с кем-то созвонилась нас отправили на другой рейс в другой терминал на поезде и автобусе (Просили ведь сопровождение в Денвере- нам грубо отказали). В итоге багаж - потеряли. Отправили во Франкфурт вместо Москвы!!! Багаж ждали три дня."

Плюсы: "I was able to squeeze back into Comfort Economy and make my destination, after a messed up miles upgrade - have to be grateful for the small things, right?"
Минусы: "I was actually upgraded to Business Class through a LH miles award, however, that upgrade was not honored, despite the fact that I had a confirmation email from them. I had to first get to Frankfurt to even negotiate this problem. At the departure point, LH was unable to furnish me a boarding pass to my NY flight. After racing though the huge airport at max speed to make this connection, I was treated rudely at the gate in Frankfurt by LH short tempered ground staff, to the point of even being accused of being the source of the problem and being late for boarding (when I was only accorded an hour connection through this booking, and raised this concern with LH prior). Lastly, the ground crew took away my connecting flight boarding pass and nearly forgot to give me back my luggage tag. The flight crew was Ok, but just did a bare minimum to keep up with the packed and overbooked flight. To top of the joy, I got food poisoning after landing in NYC - not all food they serve was in sealed containers, and it must have been enough to cause a day of misery that followed my arrival - I can assure you that the late time and taxing and docking delays in NYC took away any opportunity to have a normal dinner, and LH food was all I had all day... Not the usual LH experience, but I may give them a break for the next few trips."

I think that if I already requested ahead of time that the flight crew should know about it and be ready to provide me with the correct meal even if I don't call back and confirm."

Poor service for such a professional airline. Bags missed the flight and we were kept waiting me re than an hour to process a claim."

So, regardless of whether you book your tickets 3 months in advance or the day before, you're not actually guaranteed a seat unless you check in online. We weren't told this until we were at the airport and checked in there that we might not be able to get our pre-booked in advance flight because of over-booking from KLM. We then had to wait and see if there were seats available when boarding. Luckily, there were, but we were not sat together. Not the greatest start to our first holiday together as a couple. We were told that if there weren't seats available, they'd pay for us to get to another airport to fly out, which would have meant a huge delay on the only time off we'd get together this year and have to rearrange our pre-booked and pre-paid living arrangements for the week. All because there wasn't a lot of emphasis on the need to check in online before hand. You'd think if someone checked in at the airport, that would be more of a guarantee that they'd be flying with you that day, but apparently not. Definitely not impressed or happy with this part of the KLM experience. This is the only company that we've had this problem with, they should make it clearer that it is essential to check in online."
